Sulung Research Station is one of PT. Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk. Citra Borneo Indah Group devision. Since 2009, it has operated in Sulung Village, Arut Selatan district, Kotawaringin Barat regency, Kalimantan Tengah with location of its head office is in Pangkalan Bun. SRS duty is to give the service such as suggestion and recommendation based on the result of innovative and practical research for increase the sustainable productivity of palm oil plantation.

SRS conducts research in various fields such as agronomy (fertilization, climate, physiology and plant morphology), soil (soil studies and conservation, water management), pests, diseases, weeds, and the integration of palm-cattle. Most results are implemented on real-life agronomy practices across multiple palm oil plantations.
